My Struggles With Rheumatoid Arthritis Disease, & What You Can Learn From Them

by Kathy on September 6, 2009

Hi there everybody!

If you’ve read my story you know I struggled with a rheumatoid arthritis disease that was crippling and extremely painful. It took away 2 years of my life but left me with valuable lessons that every one of you, whether you’re in great health or suffering with health issues, can gain from.

Your health is without a doubt one of the most important things in life. Safeguard it, cherish it, and never take it for granted. Wishing you well :-) , Kathy

Kathy, Thanks so much for stepping up to the plate and sharing your personal experience! It takes a lot of courage to do so, and you did a beautiful job of just opening up your heart and sharing. People do take health for granted until some catastrophe strikes.

You’ve given me courage to share my story.

Hello Kathy,

I just wanted to tell you that you brought tears to my eyes. I was diagnosed about 1 yr. ago with RA and in the last month the RA has really taken a toll on my health. My right ankle is doubled in size and hurts to walk on and most of my fingers are swollen and stiff.
Most people (well meaning) are telling me that if I don’t “hurry up” with the drugs I am in “big trouble”. I have modified my diet, trying to exercise (not easy) and practicing Qigong accompanied with acupuncture. I am taking some supplements but still feel like I am losing the battle.
I am trying very hard to stay “up” but getting tough to do that. I would love to hear more about your experience and supplements you are taking.
Blessings and Thank you for your heart felt testimony.

Fondly,
Jean

Thanks for sharing. Believe me when I tell you I feel your pain.
