Success In Network Marketing – Mindset is NOT Everything!

by Kathy on March 11, 2011

Success in network marketing can be achieved by anybody, provided that you follow a proven recipe.

Chances are that you’ve heard time and time again that in order to create success in network marketing, you need to have the proper mindset. Yes, this is essential – and I would never encourage anybody to join a network marketing opportunity if they are not willing to develop a positive attitude. Once your head is in the right place, though, serious action is required.

This has proven to be one of the best network marketing tips I’ve ever received….and it’s plain, simple, and to the point. I’ve included an image below to help you visualize the concept. Hope it helps you to create tremendous success in your network marketing opportunity, and please let me know if there’s anything I can do to help you out :-)

Hey Kathy

Great, simple, to the point explanation of how to succeed in Network Marketing! The problem with most people is that they don’t realise how much of a numbers game Network Marketing is! If you speak to enough people, you will succeed! Don’t focus on results, focus on numbers!

Enjoyed your video, Kathy.

Thanks, Sue

Hi Kathy. Simple, straight forward message ! I have used Mark Yarnell’s story where he shares a variety of different successful people’s numbers. It boiled down to show the plan ….. until …. and don’t stop before then.

Love the short video and the photo to enhance the post. It rocks !

Kathy,
And I thought all I had to do was share my business with a few close friends and family – and when they did not sign up I felt quite deflated. This is so true that it is about really putting yourself out there and sharing your business – any type of business and realizing it is a numbers game. Also, not being attached to the responses of any one or two individuals.

Thanks for sharing some essential insights.

Hi Kathy, I didn’t know you had to show your business to so many people. I guess I never thought about it much but It’s worth it though. Especially with the information age. You can really generate a lot of potential buyers. I think it would also help if we qualify them first and refocus our attention on new members or have a coaching program to teach how to talk to the right people. You know what they say…don’t concentrate on the sale, concentrate on if there’s a sale to be made. Thanks for helping me with your recipe of success blueprint. :)

I have heard similar averages ~ obviously it differs depending on the person presenting and how good they are at asking the right questions, closing, etc., but the bottom line is that network marketing is DEFINITELY a numbers game. Of course it helps to have a product/ service that has a huge market demand and a great system to show your presentation. :) But even with less than stellar products and systems, people succeed across companies BECAUSE they take massive action in the game of prospecting.

Thanks for sharing this recipe for success with us, Kathy!

Hi, Kathy,
You have really crunched the numbers for network marketing. It is very much about persistence and follow through, and I think if a person was able to enroll 40 people out of 200 they would be very fortunate indeed.
Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Hi Kathy,

I can really see where it is totally a numbers game, as I’ve always believed. It’s a bit like the old telemarketer ‘rules’ in that respect. To really make it ‘happen’, I can see where you’d have to find new folks to talk (and follow up) with every day. Best of luck with your numbers!

Hi Kathy,
Great video and post! I have a question- does that mean that in order to get myself 4-8 superstars I have to show my business to at least 400 people…?

Great article! I find it amazing how many “just believe in yourself” books there are and how many “leaders” dont talk about the core skills needed and instead just talk about belief and a positive attitude. Network Marketing is no different than any business – as a general rule, the more people you talk to the better you will do.
